The Jimmy Teams

Jimmy is a team of nearly 100 dynamic and driven professionals committed to decarbonising industry on a large scale. With exciting challenges spanning both design and implementation, we are growing rapidly.

We are looking for ambitious individuals eager to bring their expertise to our team and help us achieve our goals, starting with our top priority: being ready to commission our first generator as soon as possible.
Generator – Technical Specifications

The Generator Technical Team is responsible for all simulations of the reactor core and associated systems, ensuring that equipment is properly sized and operating and control strategies are defined.The team brings together engineers from a wide range of disciplines, working in a stimulating and collaborative environment.

It includes specialists in thermal systems and neutronics, and also covers all aspects of mechanical engineering and nuclear fuel design.

Generator – Nuclear Safety

The Safety, Security and Environment team is responsible for conducting comprehensive safety assessments to ensure that the generator does not pose a risk to operators or surrounding communities.

The team maintains ongoing communication with nuclear safety authorities and plays a central role in the design process.

Generator – Design and Construction

This team is responsible for the industrial execution and delivery of Jimmy's projects. Its responsibilities include establishing Jimmy's industrial facilities in Le Creusot, preparing construction sites for future generator installations, and developing 3D designs for all facilities.

Development

The Development Team is here to help all other teams succeed. It brings together experts from a wide range of fields, including procurement, human resources, legal affairs, finance, communications and business development.

Its mission is to enable everyone to focus on their core responsibilities, remove day-to-day obstacles and support Jimmy's growth, without introducing unnecessary complexity.

Manufacturing

The Manufacturing Team is developing the production facilities and equipment needed to pre-assemble Jimmy's reactor. This involves designing and building highly precise, specialised machinery while meeting stringent nuclear safety requirements.

The team brings together experts from various disciplines, working closely with on-site operations and tackling exciting technical challenges to establish a modern manufacturing facility in France.

Exploitation et maintenance  

At Jimmy, the Operations, Maintenance and Commissioning Team is currently being established to prepare for the operation of our future thermal generators.Its role is to anticipate operational requirements from the earliest design stages, define organisational structures and maintenance strategies, and ensure that our facilities can be operated and maintained safely and sustainably over the long term.

Bringing together engineering, project management and hands-on operations, this is a team where everything is still to be built. We are looking for proactive, independent and driven individuals who are ready to take on a wide range of exciting challenges.

Future Talent Program

This program aims to provide a development and learning space for young engineers. A 360° training experience: 3 years to explore and train in 3 different roles within a demanding and challenging environment. Personalized support throughout the journey, with learning managers to guide you and training at each stage, will help you build a solid foundation in engineering.

The Stages of the Program

This experience will also give you an in-depth immersion into a complex environment. At the end of this program, you will be ready to move into a high-value technical position.

Niveau 1
An 8-month period with the thermal team to learn how to simulate fluid flows and heat exchanges.
Niveau 2
An 8-month period with the mechanical team to learn how to size equipment based on the expected requirements.
Niveau 3
An 8-month period with the systems team to learn how to design and specify a system.
Niveau 4
A 1-year period in a chosen specialty, such as systems, thermal, or mechanical engineering.
